Baby girl nursery - dark wood furniture?
Hi, everyone!
I'm looking for some nursery decor inspiration and I would be grateful for your help.
For our baby girl's room, I'll be reusing a black/brown hemnes dresser from IKEA, a dark wood crib, and a dark wood bookshelf — all of which formerly made up my son's nursery (he's now moved on to a new big boy room).
In spite of the small space and dark furniture we're working with, I'm hoping that we can make our new nursery feel light, airy and feminine (but not too frilly). I'd love to go with a blush pink/white/brass or gold/light grey-ish colour scheme, if that's possible to pull off.
I've scoured the internet for pictures of girl nurseries with dark wood furniture and they are soooo few and far between, not to mention outdated.
'Anyone have a picture of their future baby girl's — or neutral — nursery with dark wood furniture that you don't mind sharing?
